I use a 3.5mm audio cable in my car, and the wires started to come loose from the jack, so I designed and 3D printed a new 90 degree angle cover for it.

The cover was printed in two shells. I then hot glued the cable inside the shell. I didn't get a good picture of the glue, but I pretty much filled the inner cavity and made sure the wires had a good curve to them for strain relief. I tried using acetone to fuse the ABS plastic at the seams, but it turned out to be unnecessary and it made the surface finish a bit messy.
