<p></p> <p><b>New page</b></p><div><br /> My CTC Bizer was having problems with static build-up disrupting the SD card and causing the print to fail (read more [[3D_Printing#Problems|here]]).<br /> <br /> I also explored other possible problems and decided to solve a lot of them all at once.<br /> <br /> &lt;b&gt;Things I needed:&lt;/b&gt;<br /> * Static shielding for PCBs<br /> * Static shielding for ribbon cables<br /> * Grounding for PCBs<br /> * Move stepper motor wires away from PCBs<br /> * Add better surge protection/UPS<br /> * Check for wire fatigue<br /> * check all wire connections<br /> * Test SD card<br /> * Test if there are software/gcode problems<br /> <br /> The main thing that solved my problems was static shielding/grounding for the SD card and LCD PCBs. I used aluminum tape and kapton tape for shielding.
